2026 Fresno Walleye Challenge Canceled
With the low water levels at Fresno Reservoir, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Fresno Walleye Challenge fishing tournament. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. We look forward to bringing the tournament back next year.

The Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited Hosted 216 Students During Their Annual Youth Education Day on May 7, 2026, at the Walleye Pavilion on Fresno Reservoir.
This hands-on program is designed for 5th and 6th grade students, with participation from seven area schools. Students rotated through five interactive sessions led by partners including FWP, BOR, the Milk River Project, and members of the Fresno Walleyes Club.
2026 Fresno Challenge
This year’s Fresno Challenge is scheduled for Friday, June 12 through Saturday, June 13, with fishing beginning at 7:00 a.m. each day, as long as the reservoir water levels are above 2,650 feet. An official decision regarding a possible cancellation will be made by the Fresno Chapter and announced during the Tiber Walleye Tournament. We apologize to everyone trying to plan their schedules and appreciate your understanding of our situation. Let’s all cross our fingers for some good rain during the month of May.

There will be a complimentary meal provided by the Fresno Chapter at the Rules Meeting on Thursday night too!
